I have been working at Villiers for the past 3 years. My background consists of Deputising within nursery, this helped to understand child development. I enjoy helping children thrive to achieve their aspirations. I have two children, a 6-year-old and a 9-year-old and have a lot of lived experiences. My passion continues to be working with children, I treat them all as my own. I have the drive and dedication to never give up on my children and families.
Katie Ryder
Intervention Worker for Villiers Primary
I have three boys of my own, my eldest child has Asperger’s and Dyspraxia. I understand the difficulties of what home life can be like with a child with needs.
My specialism is Bereavement as this is an area that I have had personal experience in and have supported others through. I have previously worked in a Primary School in early years for 8 years. My passion is to make sure every child’s voice is heard and to give them a positive happy start during their time in education.
Fiona Handy
Family Liaison Officer- based at Villers Primary
I first began my journey as a 1-1 teaching assistant slowly climbing my way to covering lessons. My dream was always to work alongside children and families that require that extra support, and here I am. I enjoy coming to work every day because to me this isn't just work, it's supporting and changing lives where we can. Yes, this job can be hard at times, but the support from our team really does help, and always feels rewarding in the end. I support heavily with behaviour in school, acknowledging creating positive relationships is key. My specialism is advocating Positive re-integration to School.
